Al suo posto c\u2019\u00e8 il <strong>Qualcomm Dragonwing Q8<\/strong>, una variante modificata dello stesso progetto pensata meglio per un dispositivo da gioco senza fotocamere e senza connettivit\u00e0 cellulare.<\/p>\n<p>La notizia conta soprattutto per un motivo pratico: non sembra trattarsi di un downgrade reale sul piano dell\u2019esperienza d\u2019uso. Anzi, le differenze dichiarate puntano nella direzione opposta, con un chip pi\u00f9 adatto a una handheld gaming machine, potenzialmente pi\u00f9 fresco e con una gestione pi\u00f9 stabile di Wi-Fi e Bluetooth.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<section class=\"fbp5-section\">\n<div class=\"fbp5-section-label\">chipset<\/div>\n<h2>Il Dragonwing Q8 cambia il nome, non la <span>fascia del prodotto<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Odin 3 era stata presentata nell\u2019ottobre 2025 come una handheld di fascia alta basata su <strong>Snapdragon 8 Elite. L<\/strong>\u2019aggiornamento del materiale marketing ha per\u00f2 confermato che il processore effettivo \u00e8 il Dragonwing Q8, un chip Qualcomm derivato dallo stesso impianto tecnico ma privo di alcuni blocchi hardware che su una console di questo tipo non servono.<\/p>\n<p>La differenza principale riguarda il modem: <strong>Snapdragon 8 Elite integra il modem X80 5G<\/strong>, mentre Dragonwing Q8 ne \u00e8 sprovvisto. Nel caso di Odin 3 l\u2019impatto pratico \u00e8 nullo, perch\u00e9 la macchina non offre funzioni cellulari. La rimozione di modem e gestione camera permetterebbe infatti al Dragonwing Q8 di offrire prestazioni leggermente migliori e temperature operative pi\u00f9 contenute.<\/p>\n<p>Sempre nella stessa direzione va il tema della connettivit\u00e0 locale: Wi-Fi e Bluetooth risulterebbero pi\u00f9 stabili sul Dragonwing Q8 rispetto allo <strong>Snapdragon 8 Elite standard.
