Il PET offre <strong>migliore trasparenza e resa visiva<\/strong>, ma <strong>minore resistenza<\/strong> a graffi e usura rispetto al PI. Una scelta PI per Apple potrebbe quindi rappresentare una <strong>differenziazione tecnica<\/strong> mirata a privilegiare robustezza e longevit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Perch\u00e9 il PI: pro e contro<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il <strong>film in poliimmide<\/strong> presenta <strong>maggiore durezza superficiale<\/strong> e <strong>resistenza ai graffi<\/strong>, qualit\u00e0 cruciali in un dispositivo pieghevole soggetto a stress meccanici ripetuti. Di contro, comporta <strong>costi pi\u00f9 elevati<\/strong> e potenziali compromessi sulla resa ottica rispetto al PET. La valutazione di Apple sembrerebbe quindi orientata a un <strong>bilanciamento pro-durabilit\u00e0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sul fronte supply chain, la coreana <strong>Kolon Industries<\/strong> viene indicata come <strong>potenziale fornitore<\/strong> del film PI trasparente (commercialmente noto come <strong>\u201ccolorless PI\u201d<\/strong>).
